BIOGRAPHY
Rick started his career by joining Salomon Brothers as a trader straight out of Oxford University. After running various credit and Government trading books and desks he moved to Switzerland 17 years ago to launch his own hedge fund trading the short end of Fixed Income. This fund was nominated for awards as one of just a few in the entire fixed income universe to be positive throughout 2007-2010.
With interest rates arriving at zero across much of the World, Rick switched his focus in 2014 to the asset-backed space where he was instrumental in designing the first insured receivables issuance under the new EU Securitisation Regulation. Rick is one of the founding partners of Pactum and manages the Pactum Corporate Capital Fund which, as with his prior fund, has had positive returns over every single 12-month period and was applauded by FINMA for its 2022 performance
