BIOGRAPHY
Since 2002, Björn is passionate about founding and invested in companies on a mission to
deploy innovative technologies improve human health. Björn believes that through improving
human health, societies become stronger and more peaceful. He and his family are significant
shareholders in public healthcare companies as well as multi-national industrial holdings.
Personally, Björn is an active investor and board member in over 50 private health-tech
companies in Europe and US.
Since 2012, Björn is the co-founder and serves as CFO, CBO, MD, Board Member at
Caresyntax Corp. Since 2011, he is the co-founder and serves as Managing Director at
surgical.ai; a specialist healthcare AI investment vehicle with >$150m AUM. He serves as
Board Member at Daslab Advanced Diagnostics GmbH and Lillian Care GmbH. Prior to forming
surgical.ai and Caresyntax, Björn worked in private equity and management consulting in
healthcare sectors.
