BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Samson (Soso) Pkhakadze is the President of Wissol Group and President of the Business
Association of Georgia.
Wissol Group is one of the largest business groups in Georgia involved in different sectors of the
local economy, such as real estate, energy, retail, fast-food chains, outdoor advertising, etc.
Business Association of Georgia (BAG) is by far the largest NGO in Georgia, representing
interests of private businesses. BAG members account for over 75% of Georgian GDP.
Samson Pkhakadze is the graduate of Harvard and Georgetown Universities (USA); Moscow
State University (Russia) and Tbilisi State University (Georgia). Samson Pkhakadze holds PhD
in economics.
