BIOGRAPHY
Elisabeth Köstinger is a former Austrian politician known for her dedication to environmental, agricultural and tourism issues. She now operates as an entrepreneur of her company, e+ventures.
Starting in 2009 as a member of the European Parliament, she then, in 2017, got President of the National Council in Austria, followed by her term as Federal Minister for Agriculture, Sustainability and Tourism of Austria in the Government of former Prime Minister Sebastian Kurz. In this role, she advocated for sustainable development and worked on measures to promote tourism in Austria.
In May 2022, Elisabeth Köstinger left politics and started as an entrepreneur and CEO of her own company, e+ventures, while also becoming a non-executive member of the Board at Ryanair.
