Paweł Jacel

BIOGRAPHY

Paweł Jacel is a Partner at CVI, where he is responsible for unitranche, junior and mezzanine/ structure equity financing. He has over 15 years of investment experience. Pawel joined CVI in 2015, before that he worked in private equity company Krokus PE. Pawel started his career in consulting and M&A business (JP Morgan,BCG, Hexagon). He is CFA charterholder and graduated from University of Lodz.

CVI Dom Maklerski (CVI), headquartered in Poland, is the largest private debt manager in Central Europe with close to €700m AuM. Since its inception in 2012, CVI has deployed more than €2.7 billion into over 350 small and mid-market companies in Central Europe. Typically, CVI invests EUR 5-20m into private debt (senior, junior, unitranche), mezzanine and structure equity transactions. In 2022, CVI reached final close of first direct lending fund in CEE – CVI CEE Private Debt Fund with value of €132m. CVI is also a signatory of United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (UN-PRI).
